Indications:

  • Phenylketonuria

Directions for Preparation and Use:

Use only under the direction of a physician or dietitian. Periflex Junior must be consumed in conjunction with natural protein, fluid and other nutrients in quantities prescribed by a physician or dietitian to meet phenylalanine and general nutritional requirements.

Periflex Junior is intended for toddlers and young children.

Intake of Periflex Junior is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the individual. Periflex Junior should be divided into equal portions and distributed throughout the day.

Mixing Instructions:

  • Add the desired volume of water to a shaker or other container with a tight fitting lid. Then add the prescribed amount of powder and shake until fully blended together. Dilution guidelines are shown in the table below. Periflex Junior is best served chilled.
  • Periflex Junior tastes great when blended with 1 fl oz (30 mL) of water for every 5 to 6 grams of powder.
